Inside the L-Plate Circuit

Posted on: August 9, 2007

I lost count of my “Inside the L-Plate” series… There was one or two lessons that I didn’t blog about so I will just randomly update about my driving now… Today was my first time driving in a circuit. I had to go all the way to Ubi, ComfortDelgro Driving Centre for it. I was late for 15 minutes because I didn’t expect the train to take so long, I couldn’t find the bus stop for 25 and I got off 1 bus stop late…

My circuit was at 2 PM so I had 15 minutes to practise on the roads before going back into the Centre for my first circuit. I must say my first circuit was terrible! Stop lines alone, I could have failed thrice. I lost count how many other mistakes I made… Then there were the instructor’s instructions, they were so raw and new that I couldn’t really catch…

One good thing, I can park alright… That’s all… I really need to practise more circuits to familiarise the process. My first circuit is really a demoralising experience. Now I really wonder if I can pass my TP at one try on October 4th which I really have to because I don’t have the time and finances to continue to learn driving…
